Sentiments toward globalization and protectionism worldwide 2021

3 out of 4 people in selected countries, mostly advanced economies, believe that expanding trade is beneficial, as of April 2021. Based on the survey conducted by Ipsos in March and April 202, 5 percent of people think that their country needs to take more steps to protect itself from today's world.

In the United States and Canada, the surveyed age was 18-64. For all other countries surveyed it was 16-64.
