Chikungunya cases in Bolivia 2015-2022
The number of cases of chikungunya fever in Bolivia has been continuously fluctuating since 2015. As of 2022, there were 232 chikungunya cases in the country, the lowest figure reported in the period. This represents a decrease of nearly 43 percent compared to the 404 cases recorded a year prior. On the other hand, other South American countries, such as Colombia, have been experiencing a decreasing trend in chikungunya fever cases.
