The number of internet users in the Dominican Republic has increased recently. As of January 2019, almost 7 million Dominicans had access to internet in the Caribbean country. That is over 15 percent more than the 6.05 million internet users recorded in January 2017. Meanwhile, the number of mobile cellular subscriptions in the Dominican Republic has been oscillating.
