This statistic displays the share of refractive surgery performed through the LASIK technique in some European countries in 2015. Corrective eye surgery following this technique took up a share of 85 percent in Germany and a share of 80 percent in Spain. In contrast, LASIK procedures only held 20 percent of the total refractive surgeries in Italy.
