Out-of-pocket expenditure as share of health spending in Argentina 2010-2020
In 2020, Argentina's out-of-pocket health payments from households accounted for about 24.2 percent of the total health expenditure in the country, the lowest value reported during the analyzed period. This figure decreased compared to the beginning of the decade, when out-of-pocket health expenditure represented 26.8 percent of the total health spending in Argentina. In the last year depicted, Argentinean households spent more than nine billion U.S. dollars on health care.
