In 2022, the installed base of anesthesia machines in Argentinean hospitals was estimated at 2,523 units. C-arms and laparoscopic equipment, tools used during surgery along with anesthesia machines, had an installed base of 491 and 1,161 units, respectively. In 2020, the South American country made use of 1,161 operating rooms, the fourth largest amount among Latin American nations.
