As of 2016, the majority of human trafficking victims in Belgium who were guided to a reception centre by Social Inspection Services were Bulgarian. 16 out of 39 trafficking victims brought to reception centers in Belgium in 2016 were Bulgarian, while a further eight victims came from Morocco.
