Worldwide CIO business insights

The present study is based on interviews conducted with 1,656 chief information officers (CIO) from more than 20 industries around the globe and it focuses on the position they have within corporate management hierarchies, the solutions and innovations they use in their job and the different roles they have to play in dealing with sometimes conflicting goals. The study finds that more and more CIOs step out of their traditional domains and move towards far bigger roles on the front lines of the business.
