Statistical Brief No. 94

This study presents data on infections due to medical care during medical and surgical hospital stays in 2007. The illustrated patient and hospital characteristics are sorted by age, gender, expected payer, length of stay, and hospital size, are compared between hospital stays with infections due to medical care and all other hospital stays that meet the same inclusion criteria.
