Popular customs on Easter
There is no traditional Easter activity in the U.S. as popular as giving baskets of candies. Many children place empty baskets outside around the house or in the garden as they believe that Easter bunny will fill them with candy which in fact is usually done by parents or other relatives. Hunting out Easter eggs is another common practice on this occasion followed by painting eggs and paying a visit to the church.

What are the most popular Easter gifts?
If you are going to select a present for Easter in the United States, there is a good chance you will end with candy, sweets, and especially chocolates: A lot of the popular Easter gifts are likely to contain the sweet cocoa-based product. Be it regular chocolates, candies made of chocolate or even chocolate eggs, on Easter holidays, American consumers just seem to really enjoy their Easter treats.
