This statistics displays the results of a survey, asking adults in seven Northern European countries who they planned to spend Christmas Day with in 2014. The majority of respondents in all the countries surveyed planned to spend Christmas day with their immediate family. Only 2 percent of French respondents planned to spend the majority of the day with their extended family.
