A barbecue is the ideal occasion for family members and friends to get together. People cook food while talking to each other, and the taste of barbecued food is second to none. But what in particular is the perfect reason to have a barbecue?

74% of the American respondents believe that good weather is an ideal occasion to have a barbecue. This result is reflected by the fact that many U.S. consumers barbecue several times per week during summer.

Others believe that barbecue is something you can enjoy spontaneously as more than 65% of the U.S. consumers like to have a barbecue whenever they feel like having one. Another popular occasion to have a barbecue is on holidays while particularly the Fourth of July takes the lead when it comes to perfect holidays for grilling: As of 2018, more than 73% of the U.S. consumers throw barbecue parties on this date.
