Competition in the field of dating services is fierce, with a tight spread of popularity among brands. be2, C-Date, Badoo, Bumble, and Tinder are leading in popularity, with roughly a quarter of consumers who know the respective brand actually liking it. In contrast, brands such as Grindr, OkCupid, OurTime, and Zoosk are less favored.

C-Date has the highest usage share of online dating services in the U.S., followed by be2 and Badoo. Almost 30 percent of respondents who know C-Date use it. Other sought-after dating services include CoffeeMeetsBagel, Bumble, and Tinder. Brands like Zoosk, Ourtime, OKCupid, and Match on the other hand, fail to have a considerable userbase in relation to their brand awareness in the United States.
