The more niche brands such as So Delicious, Halo Top and Meadow Gold have the fewest admirers, with popularity scores below 30 percent among respondents who know them.

Ben & Jerry's is the leading ice cream brand consumed in the past 12 months by U.S. consumers who know them, closely followed by Blue Bunny and Dairy Queen. Brands like Blue Bell and Breyer's are also highly preferred. Häagen-Dazs ranks somewhat lower. Brands like Cold Stone and Baskin-Robbins, despite offering a unique in-store experience, show similar consumption rates to supermarket brands like Outshine or Turkey Hill.
