Primary energy production in Argentina 2010-2021
In 2021, primary energy production in Argentina amounted to nearly 75 million tons of oil equivalent, an incline of some 3.5 percent in comparison to the previous year. In 2020, the country recorded the lowest value within the indicated period. Fossil fuels make up for the largest share of primary energy production in the country, with natural gas and petroleum accounting for nearly 90 percent of the total in the latest year.
