Ukraine: enterprise size distribution 2017, by sector

This chart presents the size distribution of enterprises in the Ukrainian business economy in 2017, by sector of activity. Across all sectors, the number of micro-enterprises outweighed other size categories. In the industrial sector (excluding construction), 86 percent of the enterprises had up to nine employees. Only one percent of industrial enterprises had over 250 employees.

Classification of activity sectors is based on the International Standard of Industrial Classifications (ISIC) Revision 4.
