This statistic illustrates drinking habits and the frequency of alcohol intake in Russia from 2009 to 2019. It seems that recently more Russians were consuming alcohol – the share of non-drinkers in 2019 decreased from 40 percent to 33 percent compared to the previous year. Furthermore, in 2019, over 60 percent of the population consumed alcoholic beverages, though the largest share of these were drinking alcohol less than once in a month.
