In 2018, job seekers resorted mainly to personal contacts such as relatives, friends or trade associations in order to find a job in Italy. In fact, 84.1 percent of unemployed people did so against an EU average of 67.8 percent. Conversely, private employment agencies were the least used channel among Italian job seekers.
