Number of employed persons in Russia 2020-2021, by industry
Over 13 million people in Russia were employed in wholesale and retail trade as well as moto vehicle repair services in 2021, making this industry the largest by the number of workers. Under 10 million employees had an occupation in the manufacturing sector of the country. Compared to the previous year, the employee count increased in most sectors.
