In 2018, household natural gas prices with a consumption of over 200 GJ were most expensive in Sweden. At 10.3 euro cents per kilowatt (kWh) hour this was noticeably more expensive than other EU nations. Neighboring Denmark was ranked second, with prices amounting to an average of 8.6 euro cents per kWh.
