Production capacity cut of coated wood free (CWF) paper in Europe 2009-2020
Between 2009 and 2018, the production of coated wood free paper in Europe has been affected by a fluctuating contraction. While the peak was reached in 2011 with a decrease of 760 thousand metric tons in the European production, the shut-down of the Stora Enso's paper mill located in Oulu, Finland, is forecasted to cut the capacity by nearly one million metric tons by 2020.
