As of August 2019, a sizable share of the population of the Netherlands held a positive attitude towards economic growth. However, the share of younger respondents who regarded economic positively was somewhat lower in 2019. Approximately 50 percent of respondents under the age of 40 considered economic growth to be a good thing, whereas this figure increased to roughly 60 percent among respondents over 40 years of age.
