Individuals struggling to pay mortgage instalments in Italy 2017-2019
According to the results of a survey conducted over the last three years, in 2019, one in three Italians struggled to pay their mortgage instalments. This represents the largest share over the period considered. In 2018, for example, only about one in four Italians admitted that they were struggling to pay their mortgage instalments.
