Frequency of reading washing guidelines on apparel labels in the U.S. 2019
As of August 2019, 35 percent of American consumers stated that they always read the instructions on clothing tags for how to wash their clothes before doing laundry. That year, six percent of respondents said that they never checked the tag before washing their clothing.
