United Kingdom: distribution of people by attitude towards cashless society 2018
The concept of cashless society refers to an economic state in which financial transactions are executed in an electronic format and without banknotes. According to a nationally representative survey among consumers in the United Kingdom conducted in November 2018, more than one third of people advise coping in a cashless society would be hard or impossible for them. In contrast, approximately 14 percent of respondents advised that losing cash would be a minor inconvenience in their life.
