Cargo traffic at Indian ports FY 2021, by type of commodity

Petroleum products traffic handled at Indian ports amounted to nearly 349 million metric tons in the fiscal year 2021. They had the highest traffic during the measured period, with an decline of 16.7 percent in comparison with the previous year. About 70 percent of trade by value and more than 95 percent by volume across the south Asian country was done through maritime transport.
