In 2020, the transport performance of goods transported by road in Sweden amounted to roughly 42.2 million ton kilometers. During this year, trucks that weighed 55 metric tons and more accounted for the majority of the traveled ton kilometers at 40.7 billion ton kilometers. Trucks that weighed between 24 and 31.9 metric tons were the second most common type of vehicle with 1.47 billion ton kilometers traveled in 2020.
