Reasons plant and animal life become endangered or extinct New Zealand by gender 2019
In a survey conducted in 2019 regarding the main reasons responsible for plant and animal life becoming endangered in New Zealand, around 29 percent of female respondents stated that forestry and deforestation was the key factor. During the same survey, less than 22 percent of male respondents shared the same view. Of New Zealand's plant and animals, a significant proportion of seabirds and shorebirds are considered to be under threat of extinction.
