In 2022, more than half of respondents in Peru and Mexico said that they were likely to eat less meat or consume plant-based alternatives in order to limit their own contribution to climate change, according to a survey. Among the Latin American countries surveyed that year, Brazilians were the least likely to reduce their meat consumption.
