Share of students enrolled at Spanish universities 2021 by field and gender

During the school year 2020/21, 74.3 percent of engineering and architecture students were male, the only field in which male students were a majority. In contrast, the highest share of female students was registered in the field of health sciences, with 71.4 percent of the total enrolments that year.
