In the last quarter of 2019, New York was the most expensive North American market for office rent. It cost 80.43 U.S. dollars per square foot of office space in that market. The San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, D.C. followed with 68.15 and 43.32 U.S. dollars per square foot, respectively.
