According to a survey on plant-based food consumption in Singapore by Rakuten Insight, nearly half of the male respondents stated they did not consume plant-based foods because it costs more than the original. The second most common reason was that they did not see the need for plant-based alternatives, according to 39 percent of female and male respondents.
