Number of LNG heavy vehicles in Italy 2015-2019
The number of liquefied natural gas (LNG) heavy vehicles in Italy steadily grew between 2015 and 2018. Increasing from 20 vehicles in 2015 to 1,000 units in 2018, figures were expected to double by the end of the following year. The demand for small-scale LNG in Italy was forecasted to increase in the next few years, particularly in the road transport sector.
