Cuba: cocoa harvested area 2014-2018
The harvested area of cocoa in Cuba added up to approximately 2.4 thousand hectares in 2018. This is the lowest value reported for the country in the indicated period, and represents a decrease of nearly 42 percent in comparison to 2016, when the cocoa harvested area added up to 4.17 thousand hectares. Cuba's cocoa production amounted to one thousand metric tons in 2018.
