Opinions on impact of Libya's crisis on immigration in Italy 2020

In a survey conducted in January 2020, 66.6 percent of Italian respondents believed that the current Libya's crisis would lead to an increase of the migration flows to Italy. Libya is one of the main departing countries of immigrants who try to reach Europe.
Recently, the Commander Haftar denied to sign the ceasefire mediated by Turkey and Russia. On the 19th of January, a conference was hold in Berlin with the purpose of ending the external military interventions in Libya.
