Distribution of international migrants in Africa 2019, by region
As of July 2019, Eastern Africa hosted the majority of the international migrants in Africa, corresponding to 30 percent of the total. Western Africa followed with 28 percent of the migrants within its borders. Instead, Northern Africa was the region with the smallest percentage of international migrants on the continent.
