Number of French households with a bank account 2011-2014
This statistic presents the evolution in the number of households having a bank account in France between 2011 and 2014, in thousands. In 2014, around 28 million French households had a bank account. In recent years, economic and financial scams and offences have increased, particularly in relation to the use of bank data via bank accounts held by French households and new payment practices such as Internet shopping, which are rising.
