Digital copyright infringement offences reported in India 2021, by leading state
In 2021, the northern state of Jammu and Kashmir in India had the highest number of digital copyright infringement offences of about eight cases registered with the authorities. Overall, the country recorded more than 32 such offences that year. This category of crime fell within the scope of the Copyright Act of 1957.
