In the season 2019/2020, the Serie A football league in Italy could experience a significant revenue loss due to the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19). According to a forecast from May 2020, the Serie A could register a revenue loss of about 710 million euros. In this sense, the highest loss would relate to broadcasting revenues, which could record a decrease of 540 million euros.
