COVID-19: share of people in intensive care in France 2023, by age group
Since the start of the pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), it appeared that people were more vulnerable depending on their age group. As of April 5,2023, a considerable majority of patients admitted in intensive care belonged to the age group 60 to 89 years. They indeed represented nearly 73 percent of all admissions in intensive care due to COVID-19.
