Mexico: monthly unemployment rate 2019-2021
In September 2021, 3.93 percent of the economically active population in Mexico was considered unemployed, down from 4.79 percent registered in the same month of 2020. In June 2020, just a few months after the COVID-19 outbreak, the unemployment rate reached its highest monthly value since the beginning of 2019, at 5.32 percent. Within the selected period, the lowest unemployment rate was observed in December 2019, with 3.3 percent.
