Number of students in higher education in Norway 2011-2021, by gender
In Norway, it is more common for women to be enrolled in higher education institutions than their male counterparts. Since 2011, the number of both male and female students increased, but more women entered academic studies during this period. As of 2021, there were 191,321 female and 126,784 male students in higher education in Norway.
