Higher education students from Norway studying abroad 2021, by destination
The United Kingdom was the most popular country to study abroad for Norwegians in 2021. During this year, 3,200 students in higher education chose to study in the United Kingdom. The neighboring country, Denmark, was the second most popular destination that year, attracting nearly 2,000 students. Poland was the third most visited country by Norwegian students, amounting to 1,500 students. Over the past decade, the share of Norwegian students studying abroad declined.
