India: COVID-19 impact on mobility 2021

Due to measures introduced to curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in India, supermarket and pharmacy mobility saw an increase of 40 percent in November 2021 compared to the baseline. Retail and recreation had the lowest shares that month compared to other categories with a decline of 3 percent. Due to the easing restrictions, workplaces saw a rise in mobility.
