In Mexico, wholesale grocery suppliers reported a total increase in sales of almost 19 percent in March 2020. Food products was the category that registered the highest wholesale growth that month, with 22.3 percent. Grocery wholesalers also registered a sales increase of 17 percent in toilet paper and 16 percent in household cleaning and other home care products.
