In 2021, Almost ten percent of Germans read newspapers and/ or magazines in English. The data are based on a survey conducted in the country among members of the population aged 14 years and older. English was the most popular choice in 2021, followed by Turkish and French.

(In case of further enquiries: printed foreign-language newspapers and/ or magazines are meant, not reading the newspaper online!)
