Global natural gas power generation change due to COVID-19 lockdown by country 2020

Italy saw its electricity generation from natural gas drop by some 22 percent during the lockdown period caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, between March and April 20, 2020, compared to the same period one year before. In India, on the other hand, natural gas power generation increased by 26 percent from March to April 16 2020, compared to the same period in 2019.
