Natural gas transported through Nord Stream pipeline 2013-2019

In 2019, the volume of natural gas transported from Russia to Germany via Nord Stream, or North Stream-1 exceeded the annual capacity of the pipeline by 3.5 billion cubic meters. The utilization rate of Nord Stream steadily increased since 2013, when it was measured at approximately 43 percent of the yearly capacity.
