animal welfare. Some European countries have already banned it: the UK in 2000, Austria in 2004 or the Netherlands in 2012. In France, in 2018, 86 percent of the population were in favor of a European fur farming ban. 63 percent of them said they were "very favorable" to such a measure. Conversely, a total of 14 percent of French people voiced an unfavorable opinion.
