Share of female CEOs by company size Russia 2020

As of March 2020, the share of women in general management positions in Russia was rather stable and was the highest in micro-sized companies at 20 percent of the total. To compare, in medium and large companies, the share of female CEOs was lower, measuring at 12 percent.

The study was based on the analysis of 224,100 companies representing 19 industries of the Russian economy. Micro-sized companies with a revenue under 120 million Russian rubles represented 66 percent of businesses under consideration. Small-sized companies with a revenue between 120 and 800 million Russian rubles accounted for 24 percent of the total. Medium and large companies with a revenue above 800 million Russian rubles represented 10 percent of the total.
